The Train Ride Adventure / Journey through 1916
 
The experience takes place in Wadi Rum, one of the most breathtaking places on earth, and the filming location of some of Hollywood’s finest films. In the train ride adventure, visitors embark on a 10KM journey that dates back to 1916, where they board an authentic Hijaz Railway train, along with Train guards going on a mission to provide supplies for a nearby garrison under attack by the Great Arab Revolt fighters. But the mission takes a sharp turn when the Train and its passengers are ambushed by the same fighters, demanding freedom and independence.
 
Once the battle concludes, you could enjoy a wide range of amenities available at the nearby Camp fortress and Madafa (Bedouin Lounge), including an authentic dining experience. Visitors can spend the night in the Bedouin village tents and enjoy daytime activities with friends or family, such as paintball games, 4X4 off-road rides, and horseback and camel riding based on advanced booking and subject to specific fees per each activity.

Departing Time: 03:00 pm (you are expected to show up at the above location 15 minutes before departing time)
Once your shuttle/transporter arrives at the above google map link, you are expected to walk around 10-20 meters from the main road towards the railway to get on board the awaiting Train. Please note If you arrive ahead of time, you will see nothing around you as if you are in the middle of nowhere. This location is at the entrance to most of the camps inside the desert. However, kindly note that you are at the right place, and the Train will arrive at this Location at 03:00 pm to pick you up for the “Journey through 1916” ride.

General Rules
 
We are delighted to welcome you onboard our Train in Wadi Rum and highly appreciate your cooperation regarding the below terms:
 
Please confirm your Train ride seat via email at least 24 hours in advance.
Upon arrival, all passengers, including children, must present their valid Tickets and an identification document if needed. Passengers failing or refusing to comply with the rule will not be allowed on board.
The Train departs at 03:00 pm. Late arrivals will not be compensated and will miss the ride.
Train Ticket is non-refundable, non-transferable, and for one ride.
The date and time for a confirmed trip cannot be changed later.
Smoking is not allowed on board the Train all during the ride.
Passengers are expected to comply with the general safety instructions, including being seated all during the train ride, not moving between train carriages during the Train movement, not standing at its doors, and not moving or standing in open carriages during the movement of the Train.
Passengers confirming this train ride freely and voluntarily take responsibility for the potential risks and damages from taking this experience (Journey through 1916).
Parents (or responsible persons) shall be responsible for the actions and behavior of their minor children during the Train ride experience in applying all the above terms. They are requested to look after their children and ensure they behave appropriately during the experience without causing damage, harm, or injury to them or others.
