Just arrived, wasn't asked for Covid test in Cairo or when I arrived so not sure what the Tanzanian Embassies and Egyptair were talking about! They did insist on the yellow fever certificate though... I asked Egyptair why I was told that and they said sometimes immigration in TZ will ask for it and send people away. Seems as though there's no definite rule...
